The KAEE Book Club will kick off our spring discussion series with a book by bell hooks, recommended to us by 2024 Conference keynote speaker Crystal Wilkinson.

About the Event
As we start our spring discussion series, we will follow the advice of Crystal Wilkinson and read Belonging: A Culture of Place by bell hooks. We encourage you to join us, even if you have not yet read the book, as we contemplate the ways hooks describes the importance of local food and nature to black communities in Kentucky. We will also consider implications for environmental education and Kentucky Green Schools.
