About the Event

Kentucky State University's Forestry and Natural Resources Program will once again host the 2026 Habitat Symposium on December 8th and 9th from 9:00 - 4:00 at the Harold R. Benson Research and Demonstration Farm in Frankfort, KY.


This two-day event will bring together conservation professionals, researchers, land managers, students, and partners from across the region to highlight innovative projects and discuss current work in habitat restoration and natural areas management. Attendees can look forward to implementation-focused projects, case studies, and presentations from a diverse group of experts working across the natural resources field.


The symposium provides a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, learn about ongoing conservation efforts, and discuss best practices for managing and restoring natural habitats. We look forward to bringing together a great group of speakers and attendees who are passionate about conservation and eager to share ideas, lessons learned, and innovative approaches to habitat management.
