Kentucky State University- Area Extension Agent for Environmental Education

Extension Agents are community-based professionals of Kentucky State University who connect community needs with university resources. The Area Extension Agent for Environmental Education will develop, implement, and deliver educational and experiential learning programs based on locally identified needs in environmental education, which will enhance and strengthen environmental stewardship and lead to improved quality of life for community members.

The Area Extension Agent for Environmental Education is a professional educator who provides leadership in the environmental sciences through Extension’s day-to-day operations. The agent will work closely with 4-H Youth Development Agents to develop, implement, and evaluate youth environmental education and experiential learning opportunities, as well as programs designed to meet stakeholder needs. The agent will be supervised by the Regional Extension Director for the East Region.
