Green Teacher Leader eeCREDENTIAL
The Green Teacher Leader eeCREDENTIAL is designed for educators who want to bring environmental education and sustainability into their classrooms and school culture. Through KAEE’s eeCredential professional learning pathway, participants gain the skills, tools, and support needed to guide students in meaningful environmental action.
Green Teacher Leaders support students in investigating real-world environmental challenges and leading hands-on sustainability projects. From creating rain gardens and monarch waystations to improving recycling programs and reducing waste, educators in this track help students make a meaningful impact in their schools and communities.
This program is primarily online and asynchronous, allowing participants to complete coursework on their own schedule over the course of a semester. The exception is EE101, which is offered as an in-person, hands-on workshop to introduce core environmental education curriculum and teaching strategies
