KAEE $50k for 50 Years
50 Years of Growing Environmental Education
For five decades, KAEE has brought people together around a shared belief: environmental education has the power to create lasting change.
What began as a small gathering in a living room has grown into a statewide network connecting educators, students, and community leaders across Kentucky.
Today, KAEE provides the resources, training, connections, and support that help environmental educators reach thousands of students and communities each year.
And we’re just getting started.

50 Years Behind Us.
50+ Years Ahead.
For 50 years, our community has helped KAEE grow. Now, we're building something that can keep growing long after this anniversary year is over. Help us turn 50 years of environmental education into a lasting legacy.
By growing the Legacy Fund to $100,000, KAEE can create a permanent source of funding that continues supporting environmental education into the future.
Your gift isn't just supporting one program, one event, or one year.
You're investing in the educators who inspire thousands of students, the communities they serve, and the future of environmental education in Kentucky.
Double Your Impact
What could your monthly gift do?
Your monthly gift goes twice as far. Join a growing community of monthly donors helping build a lasting legacy for environmental education in Kentucky.
And right now, your impact can go even further.
Thanks to a generous challenge match from Terry Wilson and Vicki Stayton, every new monthly pledge will be matched up to $10,000.
That means your commitment today can help KAEE reach the $50,000 campaign goal twice as fast.

Current Donors & Pledges
A lasting legacy doesn’t happen alone. It grows through the generosity of people who believe in the power of environmental education. We’re incredibly grateful to the donors who are helping grow KAEE’s Legacy Fund and create a stronger future for environmental education in Kentucky.
Our donor tiers reflect each donor’s total annual support. For our monthly donors, this includes the value of their monthly pledge over the course of a year, along with any additional donations they’ve made throughout the year. This allows us to recognize the full impact of our donors’ support.
