Join us for one or two days of interactive, professional development in environmental education (EE) at KSU's Research Farm in Frankfort on Tuesday, Nov 28th and Wednesday, Nov 29th, from 9:30 am - 4:30 pm ET each day. Attend one or both days! Scholarships are available upon request.

About the Event

Join us for one or two days of interactive, professional development in environmental education (EE)! 

Day 1 (Tuesday) will feature our classic Core Curriculum Program Training (CCPT) which includes training in Project Learning Tree, Project WET, and Project WILD, which are all three award-winning EE curriculum programs! 

Day 2 (Wednesday) will feature our KAEE Facilitator training workshop which, after completed, allows you to host your own KAEE curriculum workshops in "your neck of the woods!" In order to attend only day 2, you must have been previously trained in one or more of our curriculum programs.

Both 6 hr workshops will take place at the KSU Research Farm in Frankfort. Attend one or both days!

Tuesday, November 28th | 9:30 am - 4:30 pm ET

Wednesday, November 29th | 9:30 am - 4:30 pm ET 

You can expect two days of engaging, hands-on workshop experiences, equipping you to use EE curriculum in your setting. Participants who complete the CCPT will receive a copy of the Project Learning Tree, Project WET Sampler, and Project WILD educator guides, a certificate of completion, and of course 6 hrs of PD credit. Participants who complete the Facilitator Training will receive a certificate of completion, 6 hrs of PD credit, and will be certified to lead workshops in any KAEE curriculum programs they have been trained in.

We will also have the opportunity to tour the research farm including the goat fields, the Paw Paw orchard and fishpond to learn about the research being done at KSU!

Participants will need to pack their own lunch. Coffee and refreshments (and treats) will be provided throughout the day.

Cost (Tuesday) CCPT: $129 non-members | $89 members 

Cost (Wednesday) Facilitator Training: $25 non-members | $17.25 members
