KSU Habitat Management Symposium
Kentucky State University (KSU) has partnered with the University of Kentucky (UK), KAEE, OKNP, Division of Forestry, and Seiler Geospatial to conduct a 2-day symposium that will highlight natural areas practices and demonstrations, case studies and recent conservation projects.

About the Event
Kentucky State University's Forestry and Natural Resources Program will once again host the 2025 Habitat Symposium on December 2nd and 3rd from 9:00 - 4:00 at the Harold R. Benson Research and Demonstration Farm in Frankfort, KY.
This two-day event will bring together professionals, researchers, land managers, and students to share some of the latest projects in habitat restoration and natural areas management. Highlights will include implementation-based projects, case studies, and expert talks. And we will also be joined by our Keynote speakers from Southeastern Grasslands Institute (SGI).
We're excited to share that our committee will soon be awarding two $2,500 Habitat Symposium Scholarships this fall to students pursuing careers in natural resources. We can’t wait to recognize the recipients at this year’s symposium.
