OBJECTIVES:

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Explain what KAEE is and what a facilitator does.

  • Identify and explain the basic requirements for a successful workshop.

  • Develop an effective draft workshop agenda.

  • Describe the benefits of using phenomenon-based learning.

  • Explain what standards are and which standards are appropriate for different audiences.

  • Create an outcomes-based workshop agenda using phenomena and appropriate standards.

  • List and describe other factors that may impact the success of an environmental education workshop.

  • Access resources available to KAEE facilitators.

  • Explain the roles and responsibilities of a KAEE facilitator.
