Advanced PLT Facilitator Training

Forestry professionals and KAEE Facilitators are invited to participate in a dynamic day of professional development focused on recently released Project Learning Tree curriculum modules and how to lead PLT-focused workshops.

Time & Location

Feb 27, 2025, 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM

KSU Research & Demonstration Farm, 1525 Mills Ln, Frankfort, KY 40601, USA

About the Event

This workshop will have two tracks: one for forestry professionals seeking to become certified as eeFacilitators and a second for certified eeFacilitators to dive more deeply into recently released Project Learning Tree curriculum modules.

KAEE Facilitators are educators who have been certified by KAEE to host workshops in one of our curriculum programs.  Some facilitators volunteer their time to host workshops, while others are able to host workshops as part of their day job. You can find KAEE Facilitators in the elementary classroom, at a nature center, in a university, and even in the state government.  We welcome educators, both formal and nonformal, to join our team of facilitators.

Participants will need to bring their own lunch and water bottle. Coffee, tea, and snacks will be provided.

If you have questions about the training or local arrangements, please contact Perry Thomas (perry@kaee.org or 802-279-5865).
