About the Event
Join us for training in not one, but three award-winning environmental education activity guides: Project Learning Tree, Project WET, and Project WILD. KAEE serves as the state coordinator for each of these programs. Learn more about PLT, WET, and WILD at kaee.org/programs. We are also pleased to include in this training the NAAEE Guidelines for Excellence. Learn more about the guidelines at kaee.org/guidelines.
You can expect an engaging, hands-on workshop, equipping you to use each of these programs in your setting. This training will be intensive, in addition to the one day of in-person learning, there will also be a bit of pre-work and post-work to finish up the training. Participants who complete the training and required pre/post work will receive a physical copy of each curriculum guide: WET, WILD, and PLT.
Participants will need to pack their own lunch. Coffee and refreshments (and treats) will be provided throughout the day..
