About the Event
The Southeastern Environmental Education Alliance is partnering with the following southeast states to provide a regional course on Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion for environmental educators: Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
This course is designed to provide a strong foundation in the language, concepts and principles of equity work. It is meant to be an introductory course and spark interest in further learning around justice, equity, diversity and inclusion. Importantly, this course features bi-weekly group discussions via Zoom with Lighthouse Strategy Consulting to encourage deeper connection and understanding. View the full syllabus here.
Coursework begins February 27 and all work must be completed by April 10. Each week, you will complete a module and submit your work for feedback. Participants in this cohort will meet every week for a group Zoom discussion with the course moderator. See the call dates and times in the syllabus.
