Participants will learn how to incorporate environmental education into their classrooms and programs. This engaging and interactive professional development includes copies of award-winning curriculum guides for K - 12 students. Co-hosted by Kentucky State University.

About the Event
Join eeFacilitators Abigail Way (Red Oaks Forest School), Louis Ross (Kentucky State University), Risa Yost (Kentucky Environmental Education Council), and Perry Thomas (Kentucky Association for Environmental Education) for a full day of dynamic learning and networking. Please pack your lunch and plan to spend time outdoors!
What to expect:
Engage in hands-on learning and teaching about wildlife, essential habitat elements, and conservation needs
Network with formal and nonformal educators as well as community partners from across the region
Tour pollinator habitats and other demonstration sites on the KSU Farm
Take home the award winning Project WILD K-12 Curriculum & Activity Guide, WILD School Sites Guide, and The (new!) Kentucky Nature Notebook by Abigail Way

The price of this ticket covers the cost of curriculum resources as well as refreshments. Please plan to bring your own lunch for this training. A cooler and ice will be provided for bag lunch storage.
