WILD and WET Curriculum Training

Join us for a water-focused day of learning, with emphasis on localizing Aquatic WILD and Project WET to support education about Kentucky's waterways and the wildlife that depend on them.

Time & Location

Jun 28, 2024, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Shelbyville, 704 Kentucky St, Shelbyville, KY 40065, USA

About the Event

Through active engagement in Aquatic WILD and Project WET learning experiences, participants will gain confidence in guiding students through exploration, explanation, and elaboration of concepts critical to understanding how sediment has become the most common pollutant in Kentucky's waterways . . . and why it matters. Click here for additional details and an overview of the day's agenda. All will take home two curriculum guides (the latest Aquatic Wild K - 12 Curriculum & Activity Guide and the new Project WET: Foundations of Water Education) as well as a copy of Kentucky Watershed Watch guidelines for stream habitat assessment.
