A Note from our Executive Director following the western Kentucky tornados

Dear friends and supporters,

We are deeply saddened by the enormous loss our fellow Kentuckians are facing. In light of the recent tragedies in our state, we are closing KAEE's year-end fundraiser early and would like to encourage you to give to the tornado relief efforts through the state here or other local relief efforts.

We appreciate the enormous outpouring of support from the education community that allowed us to match and exceed our challenge donation and raise over $20,000. We appreciate each of you for your ongoing support and hope now more than ever we can come together as a community and continue working toward our vision of a sustainable world where environmental and social responsibility drive individual and institutional choices.

For those who were in the path of the storms, please let us know if there is anything this community can do to help you, your school, nature center, or other EE entity. The environmental education community is ready to support you in any way we can.

Sincerely,

Ashley Hoffman
